Lausanne, November 15th, 2010 -  CROSSING-TECH today announced that their Software Division, developing the Connectivity Factory, moves to Lausanne to join the Scientific Park of Ecole Polytechnique.

“We are very proud to join the Scientific Park. This environment opens new perspectives to Crossing-Tech” said James Nauffray, CEO of Crossing-Tech. “Our engineers now work in the same building as Scala team. Scala is the ground-breaking development language used to develop the Connectivity Factory. Teams can develop hand-in-hand and thus accelerate development and overall quality and performance.”

The Science Park on campus is home to more than 100 enterprises and numerous investors. The environment at EPFL is one of exchange and interaction. EPFL campus counts approximately 10,000 students. With 125 nationalities represented and more than 50% of professors coming from abroad, the School is one of the world’s most cosmopolitan universities.

“From a business standpoint, we will all benefit from the amazing potential of EPFL.” James Nauffray added. “This is a tremendous opportunity for the coming months, when Crossing-Tech will have to sustain strong growth.”
